The pyramid-shaped temple of Huaca Pucllana lies in the heart of Miraflores and is now incongruously surrounded by buildings. Built of adobe and clay bricks – a construction material that would never have survived for more than 1,000 years in any other climate – the pyramid is formed in seven staggered platforms. The Lima Culture, by whom the pyramid was built, developed in the central coast of Peru between AD 200 and AD 700. From artifacts discovered here, it is known to have been important as both a ceremonial and administrative center. The area is divided into two sections, one of which shows evidence of being used for offerings of fish, while the other appears to have been administrative. A burial vault was uncovered here with human remains, and artifacts have been found from the later Wari culture, which thrived in this area from about AD 500 to 900. You must tour the complex with a guide, but the tours are quite inexpensive.

The 39-room Post Ranch Inn is one of the most beautiful hotels in the United States — if not the entire world — and offers a romantic, intimate stay amid gorgeous natural surroundings. The hotel is built into the cliffs of Big Sur, and the organicarchitecture is breathtaking, seeming to grow out of the ground beside the hotel’s surrounding redwoods. The spacious, eco-sensitive rooms have ocean or mountain views (that are sometimes obstructed by the pervasive fog that the area is known for) and many feature floor-to-ceiling windows to better show them off. Rooms also have wood-burning fireplaces, radiant floor heating, outdoor showers or hot tubs, private decks, and organic bath products and linens — but no televisions or alarm clocks as the hotel strives for a peaceful environment. The award-winning spa focuses on rejuvenating services and even has a shaman on-site; the restaurant, Sierra Mar, is one of the best in Big Sur; the hotel’s cliff-top pools are stunning; and free amenities (such as yoga and stargazing) are abundant.

Michelangelo’s David stares down at you from a stunning perch etched in brilliant marble and eternalized in a gallant pose. The Colosseum lights up the night with powerful arches standing as a reminder of Rome’s continuous history.

Next up is the famous Hyde Park, the largest Royal Park considered to be located in “central” London and a favorite hunting ground of Henry VIII. Known as the city’s “green lung,” Hyde Park is home to the Diana Memorial Fountain — a tribute to the late Princess Diana, affectionately known as the “People’s Princess.” If you’d like to learn more about Diana, follow the plaques for the marked seven-mile Princess of Wales Memorial Walk around the park. For a “Wind in the Willows” experience, you can hire a rowboat on the 40-acre Serpentine lake during summer. This costs $15 per hour for adults, $6 per hour for children and is available 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. during summer. During the Autumn, Winter and early Spring month, the day becomes shorter which means that if you use helicopters regularly you will have to use a helicopter that is able and legal to fly at night. Put simply you must be flying in a Twin engine, night rated helicopter with a night rated pilot to effectively complete flights within the UK at night in a helicopter. These types of helicopters tend to be a little larger and more expensive per hour but they are also able to deal with the U Ks inevitably poor seasonal weather. They are also much faster and will carry more passengers. These night-flying rules for Helicopters are set out to enhance passenger safety by the UK Civil Aviation Authority. Our night time operation Helicopter of choice is the Agusta 109 Grand. Read extra information at here.
